What customers say?

“ We went there for dinner. This restaurant in Higashi-Urawa serves authentic Edomae sushi. In addition to nigiri sushi, they also offer a wide variety of seafood, including fried, grilled, and simmered dishes. They have counter seating and tatami seating, so it's perfect for both individuals and groups. They also accept credit cards in addition to cash. This time, I ordered the sushi kaiseki (¥4,928). I'm not sure how it works on busy days, but they were able to accommodate me on the day. This menu includes premium sushi, a small bowl, and vinegared rice. The menu offers a total of six dishes: a sashimi platter, a grilled dish, and a bowl of rice. Everything, including the small side dishes and vinegared dishes, was carefully prepared and paired perfectly with sake. The sake selection is also extensive, and even though I'm in Saitama, I was able to enjoy fresh sashimi, so I quickly switched from beer to sake. The sushi was also excellent, needless to say, with large, satisfying portions, including fatty tuna and shrimp. If you're craving delicious sushi in Higashi-Urawa, why not try this restaurant? ”

“ This was my first time visiting, but everything was delicious, including the salt-grilled blackthroat seaperch. I definitely want to come back again. Next time, I'd like to try the simmered alfonsino. ”

“ December 9, 2021 (Thursday) 12:00: About the 7th time Matsu chirashi (1,100 yen) Perhaps because it's on the second floor of a building, it's difficult to get into, but it's a little-known spot during lunch hours. Today, only a group of customers are enjoying themselves in the tatami room in the back. I sit at the counter as usual. The lunch menu changes daily, and there are five types of nigiri and chirashi in pine and bamboo. In about 5 minutes, the salad, soup, and flyer were served. Chawanmushi comes later (as usual). The tuna in the chirashi is aged and delicious. The customer service is also polite and pleasant. Thank you for the meal ^_^ ”

“ It was close to my parents' house so I went there for lunch. I've only been going to conveyor belt sushi restaurants lately, so I was happy to be able to eat some delicious sushi for the first time in a while. The sea bream in the fish soup was also very tasty. ”

“ I visited this place with a friend for lunch in December. Despite living in Higashi-Urawa for 20 years, I was completely unfamiliar with the place. I was overwhelmed by the fish tank, cypress counter, and tatami room. The chu-toro sashimi, starting at ¥2,000, was a delight, and the beer was delicious. The fresh oysters, grilled silver cod, vinegared dishes, sashimi platters, and grilled whitefish roe were all carefully prepared and tasted exquisitely. My friend drank too much cold sake, nearly collapsing, and said he'd come back. Oh no! , it turns out we didn't even try any sushi. My friend regretted it after we left. ”

“ I looked at the map and found that there was an izakaya in front of the post office that also served lunch, and this sushi restaurant was on the second floor at the corner of the traffic light. I rarely go to non-conveyor belt sushi restaurants, but they serve nigiri lunches and are reasonably priced. The fish soup was delicious! ”

“ The parking lot is underground and a little difficult to get in, but it's close to the station so it's a blessing that there is a parking lot at all. When you enter the restaurant, there are rows of fish tanks, which gives it a bit of an aquarium feel. I had lunch there. The ingredients were good and the vinegar on the sushi rice was light, so it wasn't bad. The lunch topping was listed as white fish, but it turned out to be horse mackerel, which I thought was a bit strange, but well, it is lunch. The soup with fish stock is excellent, as many places offer half a whole sea bream head, and it also comes with chawanmushi, so it feels like a good deal. That said, I should have gone here in the evening when you can enjoy a variety of dishes made with fish from the fish tanks. ”

“ My family and I visit here every New Year. This time, we even had a special treat: we caught a sea bream and had it prepared as a whole fish. They have a magnificent fish tank, and in addition to nigiri sushi, you can enjoy dishes that you rarely get to see, such as pufferfish dishes, raw oysters, and grouper. I recommend this place as a treat for yourself or your family, or for entertaining. ”
